Sign up for our NewslettersAccording to a joint press release from Mercy Fort Smith and Baptist Health hospitals, the call center is available Monday - Friday from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M..
Callers will be asked questions to determine if they should be tested for Coronavirus and given further instructions on how to be tested if they're advised to do so.
According to the press release, health care professionals will be able to clinically assess symptoms over the phone and will direct callers to the appropriate next steps and have the ability to schedule COVID tests when appropriate.

Sebastian County Judge David Hudson told 40/29 a Coronavirus testing location in the River Valley will be announced at a Friday press conference that is set to take place at the Fort Smith Convention Center, 'Actions have been underway and planning has been focused to create a site for testing based on a screening procedure. At this time we're planning on having a press conference tomorrow at noon to announce more details about that.'
